Destiny 2 is now out on PC months after it’s console release. Featuring more graphical power in 4K and a better performance rate as it runs at full 60fps, the PC version of Destiny 2 seems like the better choice between the two versions, and for good reason.

Destiny 2 is a 2017 action game, it is developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It is currently available on PC and console.

Play the long awaited sequel in glorious 4K.

Following our console review of Destiny 2, we now take a look at the PC version. As many will probably have guessed it’s the graphically superior version of the game, running at full 4K and 60FPS. Outside of a few technical advances, however it’s still the same core experience as it is on console.

A prettier, smarter looking Guardian.

THE GOOD: Most of what can be said about core gameplay can be seen here in our console review, however considering the delay in release between versions I figured a short review of the PC version couldn’t hurt. As previously mentioned, Destiny 2 on PC runs at a smooth full 4K, 60FPS experience. Playing the game on ultra high setting will be an experience that’s just unmatched by the Playstation 4 Pro or Xbox One X.

A beauty that can’t be replicated on console.

THE BAD: The Battle Net exclusivity is a bit of a bother, especially for those accustomed to Steam.

The same core experience, but better.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Destiny 2’s PC version is most certainly the superior version between the five (if you separate the base PS4 & Xbox One with the 4K iterations). At full 4K and 60FPS it obviously will run better and look better doing so, but it still maintains the good and the bad of the core experience.
