Viz has released English language Yo-Kai Watch manga:
VIZ Media’s YO-KAI WATCH manga arrives in stores today, with Volumes 1 & 2 of the series both available now! The debut complements the exciting North American launch of the phenomenon from Japan, with the animated series currently airing on Disney XD and the video game from Nintendo launching this Friday, Nov. 6th. Fans of all ages will fall in love with the adorably mischievous Yo-kai characters!
The series’ Yo-kai are inspired by the yokai of Japanese folklore! In the YO-KAI WATCH manga, average kid Nate is bequeathed with the magical Yo-kai Watch, and he can now see all sorts of Yo-kai no one else can! Armed with the watch, he instantly begins collecting new invisible friends, including the feline Jibanyan, and together, they embark on amazing supernatural adventures!
