Vix Media has announced the debut of Jazz Anime; Kids on the Slope they released the following:

Neon Alley is excited to announce that the acclaimed KIDS ON THE SLOPE
series will debut on the channel next Friday January 17th, at 9:30PM
EST/PST! The series reunites the talents behind Cowboy Bebop, including
director Shinichiro Watanabe (also director of just-debuted Space
Dandy) and composer Yoko Kanno. The series wonderfully captures the look &
sound of 60s era Japan, and anime fans current & new won't want to miss the
rich & dynamic character-driven drama! *

KIDS ON THE SLOPE is a tale of love, life, and all that jazz! High school
freshman Kaoru is struggling to adjust to the latest of many moves, this
time to his uncle's home in the seaside town of Kyushu. It's never easy
adjusting, but this time he'll meet friends who'll change his life forever
and discover a new passion that grabs his heart and rocks him to his very
soul... jazz! Together with bad boy Sentaro and Ritsuko, who works in her
family's record shop, they're going to follow their muse to wherever the
music takes them!
