Viz Media has announced the date for Tiger & Bunny: The Rising:
The second feature film outing with superpowered heroes Tiger and Bunny arrives in stores on February 24th! VIZ Media’s comedy action adventure TIGER & BUNNY THE MOVIE: THE RISING will be available in Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and standard DVD editions, and both are loaded with a host of bonus features fans won’t want to miss!
The latest adventure introduces some dynamic new characters along with a sinister new threat to the city of Stern Bild! Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, a.k.a. Wild Tiger, and Barnaby Brooks Jr.’s (nicknamed Bunny) partnership comes to a sudden end when Apollon Media’s new owner fires Kotetsu and moves Barnaby back into the First League, pairing him up with Golden Ryan, a new hero with awesome powers and a huge ego to match. When the heroes are sent to investigate a string of strange incidents tied closely to the city’s Goddess Legend, they discover three super-powered NEXTs plotting to bring terror and destruction to Stern Bild. Barnaby and Wild Tiger will need to muster all their strength and power to stop the evildoers!
