Viz Media has dated Anthology SAIENSU FIKUSHON:
The Haikasoru team is thrilled to make an encore appearance at WorldCon / MidAmeriCon II this week at the Kansas City Convention Center (MO)! The team welcomes Taiyo Fujii, author of the acclaimed thriller GENE MAPPER (nominated for the Nihon SF Taisho Award and the Seiun Award) and the upcoming ORBITAL CLOUD (March 2017). Fujii is also a contributor to Haikasoru’s newest anthology, SAIENSU FIKUSHON 2016, making its debut at WorldCon!
SAIENSU FIKUSHON 2016 collects three new stories from a trio of the best science fiction writers in Japan! An exclusive print edition for $5 will be available for sale from the Haikasoru table in the dealer’s room; it will also be available digitally through the storefronts for Kindle, iBooks, GooglePlay and more! Taiyo Fujii contributes “A Fair War,” depicting the future of war in an age of drones and what transpires as a result of technologic innovation; Toe EnJoe and TOBI Hirotaka round out the contributors!
Fujii will be making a series of appearances throughout WorldCon, including autograph sessions each day of the show, as well as speaking on a panel with other prominent Japanese authors, “Seiun Award Ceremony & Discussion of Japanese Science Fiction” on Thursday!
