As announced at the recently concluded Otakon this past weekend, readers can look forward to a trio of cool publishing titles debuting Spring 2016 from VIZ Media!
- The dark & edgy coming-of-age tale GOODNIGHT PUNPUN, by the Eisner- and Harvey-nominated Inio Asano (SOLANIN and WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD!, both published by VIZ Media)! Average kid Punpun wants to win the Nobel Prize and save the world… He wants to go far away with his true love… He wants to find porn… But Punpun’s average life is about to unravel!
- The stunning BLANC ET NOIR: TAKESHI OBATA ILLUSTRATIONS art book! The long-awaited high-end collection will be released as a limited edition of 10,000 copies, containing the bestselling artist’s work from 2001 to 2006, including illustrations from DEATH NOTE, HIKARU NO GO and more! The gorgeous oversized book will be presented in a silver-stamped slipcase, containing 132 pages of full-color artwork, several massive foldout posters, special papers and twelve pages of commentary from Obata, including a “how to draw” section!
