The Amazing Spider-Man film franchise just got a bit bigger as Sony Pictures revealed today that not only is the once cancelled Venom film back in development as a spin-off to the aforementioned film, but that a Sinister Six spin-off film was officially in development as well. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach will be producing the films, it was also revealed that even more films under the ‘Spider-Man’ name were in development, though they weren’t named. I guess Sony really doesn’t want to lose the Spider-Man film riights to Marvel.
