Reports are coming in that a sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us was quietly sneaked into a trailer shown off for Batman: Arkham Knight at this year’s Wonder Con. During the end of the trailer those in attendance noticed a date of 2015 appearing at the closing moments, this sparked rumors that the highly anticipated sequel had unfortunately been pushed back to next year, however the WB representatives at the panel were adamant in assuring fans that the sequel was still on board for a 2014 release.

After reports of the delay came about, more Wonder Con attendees came forward stating that the date was linked to a tease for Injustice: Gods Among Us 2. I’ll try to get confirmation on either story from a WB contact, but they’re likely not to comment directly due to “no rumors or speculation” policy that many corporations follow.
