According to Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net, Former WWE Superstar Montel Porter is currently in talks with TNA Wrestling over possibly signing a new contract to re-debut with the company. For those unaware Porter debuted with TNA during it’s early PPV years as Antonio Banks. Porter who is now 40, was recently wrestling for New Japan Pro Wrestling before his contract expired in late 2013. He has stated in the past that he was open to both returning to WWE and re-signing with TNA Wrestling, and with the new talent storyline going on currently and the recent signing of The American Wolves, a deal could very likely end up being reached. Porter could perhaps be seen as Christian this time around. Christian was never really given much opportunities to shine in the WWE during his first run with the company, yet he became one of TNA’s top attractions during his run with them. MVP was a top attraction in WWE as well, but was never able to reach Main Event status, however like Christian, he’s improved a lot since his original time with the company, so who knows what’s to happen if he and TNA couldn’t work things out and he re-signed to WWE.
