The universally acclaimed Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptation may be the next series to receive a film. A Twitter account spotted the domain name for “Jujutsu Kaisen Movie”. Which while it’s true the domain could have been made by anyone it is rather odd that the domain comes into existence so close to the first season of the anime coming to an end. The anime is undoubtedly getting another season after not only being a major hit for Crunchyroll, but also like Demon Slayer before it boosting the sales of it’s source material tremendously. It’s possible that the plan for the would be film is to adapt an arc that may be too difficult to produce in the anime. The aforementioned Demon Slayer recently received a canonical anime film covering the Mugen Train arc and there’s speculation that The Promised Never Land may also have it’s “Goldy Pond” arc adapted into a film after the second season skipped it entirely. It could also be possible that this is merely for a compilation film as well. The domain also shares it’s location with the official JJK Japanese website likely meaning that a website is in fact on the way. The initial tweet discovering the news can be seen below:
