Nintendo has revealed that the Nintendo 3DS has once again claimed the spot for best-selling video game system in the U.S., making it four months in a row for the handheld. The publisher credits games like Mario & Luigi: Dream Team and Animal Crossing: New Leaf for helping drive system sales. With Mario & Luigi: Dream Team selling nearly 190,000 combined physical and digital sales, which launched on August 11.

The 3DS streak is looking to continue with plenty of big upcoming releases like Pokemon X and Pokemon Y on October 12, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link between Worlds coming November 22. Also coming on October 12 is Nintendo’s new handheld, the Nintendo 2DS, which plays DS and 3DS games without the 3D effect and is priced at $129.99.
