Bandai Namco and developer From Software have revealed the first expansion piece for their acclaimed action RPG Elden Ring. Originally released in February 2022, the game has since been met with massive commercial and critical success including winning some Game of the Year Awards and even beat The Last of Us 2’s record for total amount of GOTY awards. Following a fan event in Japan, From Software would reveal the upcoming “Shadow of Erdtree” expansion content with developing being well underway for an eventual release though no release date was revealed.
