If you logged onto Dokkan Battle tonight on your Android or iOS device you may have been shocked by the sudden release of the following adverts:

That’s right the new canonical version of Broly is coming to Dragon Ball Dokkan Battle as a free Extreme Z-Awakening event similarly to the recent Kid Gohan event which ends tonight. While there’s not a lot of information regarding core details as of this writing speculation suggests that this event will include a free version of the character either gifted to them in their inbox or collected via running a story event (again similarly to Gohan) with a Dokkan Fest version of the character to follow around it’s release. In other news “Movie Boss” category lead Turles will also be making his Global debut leading to further speculation that the “Movie Boss” category will be Broly’s kryptonite team to defeat his EZA event. This event will be universal between Global & Japan versions of the game and will follow Dokkan Battle’s 3 Year Anniversary event. Dragon Ball Super: Broly releases in Japan on December 14, 2018 with a North American release to follow in January 2019.
