A Ubisoft Executive revealed today via LinkedIn that the Assassin’s Creed film adaption staring Michael Fassbender as the Assassin has completed the pre-development stages and will begin shooting this August for a likely Summer 2015 release. The film is being distributed by 20th Century FOX, it is to be produced by star Fassbender as well and rumored to by directed be Daniel Espinosa of Safe House fame.
