After a three yea wait, The Venture Bros. Season Six finally debuted in 2016, now the season comes home to DVD and Blu-Ray. In Season Six the Venture Family consisting of Dr. Venture, paternal twins Dean and Hank Venture, and bodyguard Brock Sampson stumble upon a part of life rarely met for the group, success. Dr. Venture inherits his deceased brother’s fortune and home, Hank begins a new relationship with one of his neighbors, Dean begins college, and many more facets of success reach the Venture Family, including a move to New York.

After a three year wait the sixth season of The Venture Bros. has arrived. Doc Hammer & Chris McCulloch have decided to move on from the theme of failure and granted the Venture family something new to experience; a bit of success. Rusty inherits his brother’s fortune and New York compound, while Hank, Dean, and Brock go through their own evolutions in success.

While the Ventures succeed, the Monarch has a far more drastic turn in failure.

THE GOOD: Venture Bros. season six marks the beginning of a new era for the Venture family and those around them. The many references used throughout the season such as: Justice League, Justin Beiber, and even a reference to horror film Saw. These tiny tidbits not only provide solid fan service, but actually shape the new world season six is beginning to create for the Ventures.

THE BAD: Season six is unfortunately very short, just as it gets really, really good.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Though long, the wait was well worth it for Venture Bros. season six. While it unfortunately suffers from time constraints, the new world being built for the Venture Bros adds a promising continuation of the long-running series. Otaku Dome gives The Venture Bros. Season Six Blu-Ray am 95 out of 100.
