South Park: The Fractured But Whole expands the story content of the game with the anticipated release of Bring the Crunch. As the name would suggest Mint-Berry Crunch aids the new kid, Professor Chaos, Dr. Timothy, and Fast Pass as they work to solve the mystery surrounding the sudden disappearance of camp counselors at the Special Need Kids Camp.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole: Bring the Crunch is a 2018 DLC expansion for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, it is developed and published by Ubisoft. It is currently available on PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

You don’t wanna go down that road.

In an epic homage to horror South Park’s new Bring the Crunch DLC provides players with a new class, weapons, costumes, and powers along with new powerful enemies. It’s that time of year again for Jimmy & Timmy to visit Lake Tardicaca for Summer camp. However, when counselors end up going missing and some found dead they must find the ones responsible or risk camp being closed permanently.

A new area & enemies are afoot in Bring the Crunch.

THE GOOD: While From Dusk till Casa Bonita was fun it didn’t really leave much room for exploration and longevity, this has been fixed in Bring the Crunch which is much more open and will take at least a few hours to complete depending on whether or not you’re doing everything. Mint-Berry Crunch, compared to Casa Bonita’s Henrietta is also a much more viable party member. Capable of providing solid support and damage output when the former just felt lacking as a support unit. The story has a ton of horror references with The Final Girl being the big joke of the bunch. I don’t think many will be surprised by the main antagonist of the story, but it’s a good time full of classic South Park wit and charm.

The new Final Girl class updates the new kid with support for offense and defense on the battlefield.

THE BAD: The map sometimes felt a bit useless with helping you out to find tasks for the camp badge missions. Difficulty doesn’t really go up until around the latter half of the content.

A great finale to Ubisoft’s second South Park entry.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: South Park: Fractured but Whole: Bring the Crunch is a fantastic way to bring “Fractured but Whole” to an end as Ubisoft prepares the likely third entry of the series. Full of old school South Park humor and fun jabs at the horror genre there’s not too much to hate about this 3-5 hour long piece of DLC. Even with a lack of a total enemy AI spike and a sometimes helpless map Bring the Crunch is a great excuse to pick up the superhero parody one last time.
