Nintendo’s Pokemon franchise has always been popular, from fans of the anime/manga to those that have retired from watching/reading the series but still proudly enjoy playing the game (myself being one of them), it’s seen as one of Nintendo’s three continual franchise sellers ( Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and the aforementioned Pokemon). Today Nintendo has announced that the latest entries into the monster capturing franchise X & Y have broken over 1 million in units sold, making it the fastest selling 3DS title to do so, and could be looking at becoming the most sold 3DS game of all time, considering A Link Between Worlds and other titles don’t catch up just as quickly or quicker.
