The Wii Mini was an interesting version of the Nintendo Wii that was only available in Canada stores. It was a much more smaller version of the Wii, with no internet capabilities and was budget priced. Today, Nintendo has announced that this version of the Wii will now see release in stores across the United States. The system will be sold in red, will come bundled with a matching red Wii Remote Plus and red nunchuck, and a copy of Mario Kart Wii. The Wii Mini bundle will be priced at $99.99 and will soon be available in stores around mid November.
An interesting bundle with a low price for those looking to check out the Wii library at a budget price. However, it will be more interesting to see how well the system will sell, given that normal used Wii systems and even new Wii systems can be found at around the same price or lower, and will come with full online capabilities.
