Viz Media has acquired the rights to classic anime series Sailor Moon, in addition to the acquiring of the anime, both Viz and Hulu have announced that the series will be streamed via Hulu and Hulu Plus. It has been rumored that a Sailor Moon reboot of some kind was in the works for the last few years, this could be a sign that the reboot is finally underway:

The legendary SAILOR MOON is back! VIZ Media was thrilled to announce at our Anime Central panel this past weekend the acquisition of the COMPLETE original SAILOR MOON anime series – all 200 episodes – including the NEVER aired in North America 5th climatic season SAILOR STARS – as well as the three feature films and additional specials for the long-running show!

Streaming starts today on Hulu for the subtitled series, with episodes 1-4 now available, and 2 additional episodes each Monday! All episodes will be uncut, uncensored, featuring original character names AND relationships, featuring an accurate adaptation just as the creator Naoko Takeuchi intended!
