Viz has dated the upcoming A link to the Past graphic novel:
The wait is almost over – the celebrated graphic novel, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK TO THE PAST (presented by VIZ Media’s Perfect Square imprint) will be available at favorite retailers in less than a month on May 5th! The long out-of-print classic by renowned manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori brings fans back to the the beloved and international bestselling Nintendo game, and will be available in a stunning, full-color oversized edition available for the first time in more than two decades!
The comic book version was first serialized in the Nintendo Power magazine in the 1990’s, and new chapters of the epic story were one of the magazine’s most popular features! In his adaptation, Ishinomori (creator also of Cyborg 009 and Kamen Rider) incorporated new plot twists and characters that made this a favorite among generations of fans. Link’s hard-fought battles on his quest to save Princess Zelda are made even more intense with Ishnomori’s unmistakeable art style and captivating storytelling!
