Viz Media will begin releasing manga chapters in America simultaneous to that of the Japanese release in issues of the Weekly Shonen Jump starting next week:

Get a taste of what’s new in Japan with Weekly Shonen Jump’s Jump Start initiative, which will simultaneously premiere the first three chapters of every brand new, first-run manga that appears in Japan’s Weekly Shonen Jump (one chapter each week)! Not only will this build an international following for each series from the get-go, this also offers fans an opportunity to weigh in via end-of-issue surveys on each new series and play an active role in helping Shueisha and VIZ Media decide what series might be featured on a regular ongoing basis!

This week, the fans can check out the debut of hard-hitting JUDOS*! High schooler Hana aims to be the best judo practitioner in his village, a remote hamlet that just happens to produce the world’s most powerful fighters. The first chapter features powerful & realistic action sequences which will have action fans and judo aficionados at the edge of your seat! In next week’s issue (September 15th), Weekly Shonen Jump fans can check out the next installment of JUDOS, as well as new series HI-FI CLUSTER, a sci-fi crime thriller, and the September 23rd issue will also see the debut of SPORTING SALT, a sports medicine manga!
