Ubisoft has provided several updates for released and upcoming titles:
LOS ANGELES – October 12, 2018 – Today, Ubisoft announced that partnerships with China’s CCTV and iQiyi have been renewed and that new broadcasters, including TV Tokyo and Disney XD Japan, have been signed for the Rabbids Invasion animated series, bringing the wacky Rabbids to new audiences across Asia.
Ubisoft also announced that Rabbids Invasion became the number 1* most watched and positively rated children’s show on Chinese television and garnered more than 2 billion views across Chinese digital platforms by the end of the 2018 summer season.
“Rabbids Invasion was our first major foray into animated series, and we’re thrilled it has resonated with so many audiences and resulted in international success,” said Hélène Juguet, managing director of the Ubisoft Motion Pictures studio in Paris. “Rabbids Invasion is a series that is easily adaptable to different markets and audiences, and it has been attractive to partners we’re working with to launch the series in new territories.”
Rabbids Invasion is developed in-house at the Ubisoft Motion Pictures studio in Paris and is now in its fourth season airing in France on France Télévisions. Season 4 will be available soon on Netflix for international audiences, and on iQiyi in China.
PARIS, FRANCE – October 11, 2018 – Today, Ubisoft announced a third season of its international start-up program at Station F, the world’s largest start-up campus located in Paris. This season will take place from January to July 2019.
For its third season, Ubisoft has opened a call for start-ups focusing on entrepreneurs from around the world with main activities in blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI).
“These technologies are revolutionizing the way we live, the way we work and the way we entertain. Algorithms and AI have always been core to the gaming industry, and Ubisoft in particular has been exploring for some time new possibilities offered by AI and machine learning to improve the way we craft games. At Station F, Ubisoft wishes to support entrepreneurs using AI, machine learning and deep learning to creatively improve the entertainment experiences themselves. In the same vein, Blockchain allows Ubisoft to recognize and show the value gamers bring with their contributions to the community, and the content they create” says Catherine Seys, Start-up Program Director at Ubisoft’s Strategic Innovation Lab.
All selected start-ups will benefit from a six-month personalized program enabling each entrepreneur to interact with Ubisoft experts as well as partners across the company`s international network.
Ubisoft leads the Gaming and Entertainment program at Station F. One of this goals of this program for Ubisoft is to leverage and share in a win-win relationship its expertise with start-ups and entrepreneurs who are exploring new opportunities for tomorrow’s entertainment industry. Ubisoft’s program at Station F is open to entrepreneurs around the world. Ubisoft aims to expand its start-up programs to other countries in the coming years.

SAN FRANCISCO – October 11, 2018 – Today, Ubisoft announced its partnership with the Center for Equity, Gender, and Leadership at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business (EGAL). Together, EGAL will research various video game industry trends while Ubisoft will gain access to applied research and collaborate with other EGAL advisory board members, and top thought and industry leaders.
“As a sponsor of EGAL we are proud to provide support to the center with research materials this semester. EGAL is doing important work in engaging and providing a space for conversation about gender equity and diversity in business, and is something of interest not just for Ubisoft but the video game industry as a whole,” said Rich Kubiszewski, VP of Operations, Ubisoft.
This partnership will start with the Fall 2018 semester as 2–4 MBA students conduct a research project and present findings to both Ubisoft and EGAL.

SAN FRANCISCO – October 11, 2018 – Today, Ubisoft announced that Child of Light is now available on the Nintendo Switch™ system for a MSRP of $19.99 with the Child of Light Ultimate Edition.
Inspired by childhood fairy tales, Child of Light is set in the magical world of Lemuria, a kingdom creatively hand-drawn and rendered with watercolor. Players embark on the coming-of-age journey of Aurora, a princess determined to save her lost kingdom and ailing father by recovering the sun, moon and stars that were stolen by the Dark Queen.
Child of Light is a classic RPG featuring turn-based combat with an active-time battle system, allowing players to fight alongside Igniculus and other members of Aurora’s party. Players will level up and gain skill points to unlock unique perks for the heroes. A deep crafting system allows players to combine gems to upgrade their swords, talismans and armor abilities as they solve puzzles and take on the minions of Lemuria’s Dark Queen. In addition, each game has a unique gem profile where gems that are found in one player’s game are rare in another’s, encouraging players to make trades.
With a mysterious world to explore, filled with enchanted locations and dynamic dungeons that evolve as lights are restored, players will encounter many eccentric creatures, including spirits of the forest, talking mice, wicked witches and evil sea serpents.

Players can share their adventure with friends and family by having player two control Igniculus through the touch screen or by using the Joy-Con™ controllers. oday, Ubisoft announced that For Honor has surpassed 15 million players ahead of the launch of For Honor Marching Fire. Launching on October 16, For Honor Marching Fire is the most ambitious update to-date and introduces four new Wu Lin Heroes, a 4v4 Breach Mode that brings the castle siege fantasy to life, and a new Arcade Mode that offers unlimited PvE content as well as additional quality of life improvements.

Building upon more than a year and a half of continuous post-launch support and improvements since February 2017, For Honor Marching Fire relaunches the title on October 16 with the largest update so far, including all-new PvP and PvE modes, new features and a complete graphic overhaul.
