The XO Three is the latest in Turtle Beach’s headset line, designed for the Xbox One, this headset is great for general listening or online play. If you wish to use it on PC, there’s the option of using Windows Sonic (on Windows 10). It’s a well designed headset for the price, regardless (mostly) of what you choose to play with it on.
THE GOOD: If you’re looking for something more advanced, but at a not so expensive price, then the XO Three is probably a safe bet for those in the “under $100” range. Audio is clear and precise and it’s quality suggests a much higher price point than advertised. Controls for audio and what not are easy to use and not located awkwardly to the point that it’d get in the way while gaming.
THE BAD: Though advertised as such, the XO Three isn’t necessarily the best for non-gaming.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: Whether you’re a collector of headsets, always looking to get an upgrade on your current model, or on a budget, you’ll definitely find some use for the XO Three should you choose to purchase it. Though, if those reasons are for anything outside of gaming, it might not be the best option for you. Otaku Dome gives the XO Three a 80 out of 100.
