After years of rumors and speculation Sony finally revealed the third game in the inFamous franchise; Second Son. Set seven years after the events of inFamous 2, you play Delsin Rowe, a young man who gets caught in the Conduits incident by chance, but this time the world is well aware of the conduits making Delsin’s situation even more deadlier than Cole McGrath’s. With smoke and neon powers being confirmed, initial gameplay footage, and crazy next-gen visuals Second Son is shaping up to be a Playstation 4 game players will remember for some time.

NUMBER TWO: DEEP DOWN

Upon it’s reveal at the PlayStation 4 Event many believed it to be Capcom’s reveal of a Dragon’s Dogma sequel, however it was announced to be an exclusive to the Sony console. Confirmed to be a free-to-play MMOish title, Deep Down is sure to be a major player in Sony’s initiative for F2P titles on the PlayStation 4.

NUMBER THREE: UNCHARTED 4

Though not much is revealed about the plot beyond betrayal being an apparent focal point, Uncharted 4 was another exclusive revealed at the PlayStation 4 Event that made many gamers happy to jump to the next generation.

Formally released for the PC, it was announced that Outlast would be ported exclusively to the PlayStation 4, giving survivor horror fans something to enjoy for Q1 of the coming year. In the game you play Miles Upshur; a freelance journalist who stumbles upon a grizzly murder mystery at the Mount Massive Asylum after being tipped off by an anonymous source. Miles finds himself in a dangerous place full of ghouls he must avoid at all cost while only being armed with a digital camera.

NUMBER FIVE: DRIVE CLUB

DRIVECLUB4

The exclusive PlayStation title that took 9 years to develop. With truly next-gen looking graphics Drive Club, Evolution Studios’ new racer is the first of many games taken full advantage of next-gen technology. Rather than focusing on off-road driving like Evolution’s previous racer MotoStorm, Drive Club will focus on on-road racing. A free version was announced for PlayStation Plus users .

NUMBER SIX: THE ORDER: 1886

The spiritual sequel to Dear Esther, you play six characters who have to deal with life during the apocalypse. Gameplay will be similar to it’s predecessor, giving players the ability to manipulate the environment and influence certain events taking place within the world.

NUMBER NINE: DAYLIGHT

Similarly to Outlast, Daylight thrusts players into a world where their only weapon is a camera, only this camera is a cell phone. The difference between the two games is that Daylight has a sort of level generator so that no two environments are the same, which is surely to make things such as back tracking and fleeing quite the challenge.

NUMBER TEN: PLANETSIDE 2

Another F2P PC title getting ported to PS4, Planetsude 2 puts players into the role of soldiers vying to gain control of areas for their assigned factions.  Planetside 2 is noticeable for it’s heavy graphics settings and potential to have up to one thousand players on screen at once.
