Aniplex has announced the premiere of a sequel anime to it’s popular Sword Art Online, entitled “Sword Art Online II”. The series will premiere in Japan this July, while being simulcast worldwide in the US and other countries ar a later, unspecified date sometime this year. The new series will star two new main protagonists, who are currently unnamed. It has not yet been confirmed if previous protagonist Kirito & Asuna will have roles in the series.
