Aniplex has unveiled at Otakon 2018 that the third season of Sword Art Online known as Alicization will make it’s world premiere debut in October of 2018 across seven countries including Japan, America, Australia, France, Germany, Russia, and Korea. The first episode of the new season will also be an hour long. The key visual art and first trailer can be seen below:
