Viz has announced a new version of the Super Mario Adventures GN;
VIZ Media is proud to announce the return of the long out-of-print SUPER MARIO ADVENTURES graphic novel this October 11th! The full-color, complete in one volume edition will be available at favorite retailers everywhere. In addition, to celebrate this long awaited release, fans in New York can join the celebration on Friday October 7th at a special launch party at Nintendo NY!
Mario first appeared in Nintendo’s 1981 Donkey Kong arcade game, quickly capturing the imaginations of fans everywhere and spinning off his own video game, Super Mario! Inspired by the video game, the fun & wacky SUPER MARIO ADVENTURES follows super plumber brothers Mario and Luigi (and new friend Yoshi!) on a plan to rescue Princess Toadstool from the clutches of the diabolical deadbeat Bowser!
