Square Enix has updated several games:
LOS ANGELES (Dec. 4, 2018) — SQUARE ENIX® rings in the holiday season with plenty of holiday gifts in its mobile games, including Slots Baby games, including DISSIDIA® FINAL FANTASY® OPERA OMNIA™ and STAR OCEAN®: ANAMNESIS™. Through January, players will be able to enjoy the following special events, jolly bonuses, limited-edition items and more:
DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY OPERA OMNIA (November 29 – December 30)
- The Winter Festival brings players generous login bonuses, including Gems, Draw Tickets, and Support Items, which double experience, gil and items earned from quests.
- Players can earn limited-time Festive Support Items and Snowflake Tokens, which they can exchange for fabulous rewards including High Shards and Armor Tokens, from the Winter Waltz Event Quest.
- Players can also collect a festive Mog stamp in-game and enjoy the holiday-themed app icon.
- All players will be treated to generous login bonuses for 28 days, including a 5-star Ace Character Ticket, 5-star Weapon Tickets, L. Limit Breakers, Gems and more.
- The event period also features Holiday Campaign Limited Items, Achievements, and special Holiday Campaign Draw. During the Holiday Campaign Character Draw period, there will be a special draw banner where 3 times a day, players can draw characters that are over 4-star for half the price of a normal Multi-Draw.
- Holiday-themed versions of various beloved characters, including Winter Fidel (5-star Ace Attacker), Winter Evelyesse (5-star Ace Defender), and Holiday Precis (5-star Ace Healer), will be available through a limited-time character draw from December 11 through December 24.
- From December 11 through December 24, players can also add the holiday-themed Tearful Welch to their character roster by completing missions in the Operation Holy Night Gift event. Players can add additional copies of this character to their collection by completing special event achievements.
- Players can earn generous character upgrade items by completing limited-time holiday achievements.
- From December 11 through December 24, players can enjoy an additional festive story event (featuring Precis from STAR OCEAN 2). By completing the Special Christmas Party missions players can earn Christmas Ornaments, which can then be exchanged for a special weapon and items.
DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY OPERA OMNIA is now available as a free-to-play app (with in-app purchases) through the App Store and on Google Play. STAR OCEAN: ANAMNESIS is available now on the App Store and Google Play for free download with in-app purchases.
The KINGDOM HEARTS video game series takes players on a fantastic adventure across the magical worlds of Disney, Pixar and SQUARE ENIX, bringing together characters from beloved films like Pixar Animation Studios’ Toy Story and Monsters, Inc., and Walt Disney Studios’ Pirates of the Caribbean, and Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Big Hero 6, Tangled, Frozen and more.
This one-of-a-kind KINGDOM HEARTS pop-up experience also features a special Keyblade exhibit, featuring life-size replicas directly from KINGDOM HEARTS III, larger-than-life art inspired by characters and worlds from the game, and digital kiosks where attendees can pre-order the game and merchandise ahead of their releases.
The Disney Springs KINGDOM HEARTS location will be open from December 14, 2018 through January 31, 2019.
LOS ANGELES (Dec. 9, 2018) – Music icon Katy Perry today previewed an all-original new song “Immortal Flame” for FINAL FANTASY® BRAVE EXVIUS®, the hit free-to-play FINAL FANTASY® mobile game from SQUARE ENIX®. As part of this collaboration, Katy Perry will also lend her likeness to the game. By participating in the in-game event on December 12, all players will be able to obtain “Popstar Katy.” This character, featuring Perry’s pixel design in a red costume, is an iconic look from her performances during her “Witness” concert tour. Additionally, other character designs featuring Perry in her other attire will be available in future in-game events.
The internationally-renowned superstar also made an on-stage appearance at the “FFBE Fan Festa 2018” global fan event in Long Beach, California today, commemorating the second year of service ofFINAL FANTASY® BRAVE EXVIUS.

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 11, 2018) – Thousands of fans from all over the world flocked to the FINAL FANTASY® BRAVE EXVIUS® Fan Festa 2018 event this past weekend. They gathered to celebrate the second year of service for the title’s global version.
- Katy Perry Collaboration: Music icon Katy Perry was personally on hand to reveal a new original song for the game titled, “Immortal Flame.” She also will lend her likeness, appearing as multiple playable characters starting on December 12. - KINGDOM HEARTS Limited-Time Event: To help commemorate the upcoming launch ofKINGDOM HEARTS III, Sora from the first KINGDOM HEARTS will be available as a unit that can be summoned for a limited time. The announcement trailer can be found here:https://youtu.be/YtlAviLjdEY.
- FINAL FANTASY VII Units: New units from the celebrated RPG can be summoned soon. Tifa (monk) and Vincent (shooter) will be available to be awakened as 7-star units, while Barret and Caith Sith are also available. Fans can also keep an eye out for favorites Cloud and Sephiroth, who will be available to be awakened to 7-star rarity in the near future.
- Winter Holiday-Themed Units: Beginning on December 21 through the end of the month, players can ring in the holiday season with new units Tiana and Felix, who can be awakened as 7-star units. In addition, returning Holiday-themed units will be available to summon through a featured banner.
- Google ID Log-in Integration: Fans will soon have the ability to log-into the game through their Facebook account or Google ID.
- New Gameplay Systems and Content in 2019: Fans can look forward to a brand new gameplay system being implemented globally, as well as new original global units and more coming in the new year.
