This week Sony and Marvel released the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home and it featured the returning Tom Holland & Benedict Cumberbatch as Peter Parker/Spider-Man & Dr. Strange respectively. The trailer also confirmed a number of reported leaks for the film that will bleed into Cumberbatch’s “Dr. Strange and the Multiverse Madness” set for release in 2022. I’ll only mention the spoilers confirmed in the trailer as the leaks revealed the entire plot of both films from beginning to end, you can see the trailer for yourselves below:
After a little bit of searching I’m having some trouble finding the core link to the original leaks and they’ve since been drowned out by fakes and reported “additional info”. However, what I do remember from them is that Peter was going to Strange to ask for help in making everyone forget he was Spider-Man following the events of Far From Home. The spell would backfire leading to a number of villains from both of Sony’s previous Spider-Man franchises as well as their leads coming into the film. All of which has since been confirmed by the trailer. In regards to the trailer itself a poor cam quality version of the trailer leaked early Monday and Sony quickly had the original and copies taken down. The trailer was an unfinished version similar to the leaked copy of Wolverine: Origins from a few years back with missing CGI and such. Spider-Man: No Way Home releases in theaters on December 17, 2021.
