Sony until recently has been very quiet on early Playstation 5 news, however as expected the console publisher has been slowly burning out details including a recent video on the next-gen console’s specs and hardware. But the other day Sony released info regarding the controller which will come packed with their upcoming next-gen console; the Dual Sense effectively retiring the historic DualShock name (for now?).
The controller was not only confirmed to have a headphone jack, but also the following:
- Two-tone color design
- Form factor
- Light bar placement
- Haptic feedback
- Adaptive triggers
- Rechargeable battery via USB-C
- Built-in mic
- Create button
The controller will launch with a white & black dual color design with a reverse version being likely. Despite concerns amid the corona virus crisis the Playstation 5 is still currently scheduled to launch this holiday season.
