Sentai has licensed a handful of anime:

HOUSTON, TX, DECEMBER 23, 2017 – They are cute, resourceful, fun and the newest acquisition for Sentai Filmworks… they are Yui, Sacchan and Kotoha, the main characters ofMitsuboshi Colors.

This new story from Silver Link (‘Chivalry of a Failed Knight,’ ‘Tanaka-kun is Always Listless,’ and ‘Kokoro Connect’) follows the lives of three small kids on their own secret mission… to protect their city! The adventures of the “Colors” adventures include struggling to be heard, playing games, solving puzzles, and even outsmarting some adults, all before nightfall.

‘Mitsuboshi Colors’ is based on the manga by Katsuwo and directed by Tomoyuki Kawamura (‘Kamigami no Asobi,’ and ‘Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon’). The series will start in the Winter 2018 season and will be available for streaming exclusively on HIDIVE, beginning in January 2018.

Sentai Filmworks ascends into heaven with its newest acquisition for the Winter 2018 season: ‘The Seven Heavenly Virtues!’ The series will be helmed by director Shinji Ishihira (‘Fairy Tail’) and the studio Bridge.

Heaven has been thrown into chaos, and in the ashes, seven voluptuous angels known as the Seven Heavenly Virtues, are sent to Earth to search for a candidate who can become the “true messiah”. As these beauties from the sky try to race against time, they realize how far the Seven Mortal Sins have spread their plague. Their search is just beginning… Will the lucky candidate be able to handle these salacious angels?

‘The Seven Heavenly Virtues’ will soon be available to stream on select digital outlets in January 2018, with a home video release to follow.

They are just 9 centimeters tall, but these little fairies will start their adventures as Sentai Filmworks’ new acquisition for the Winter 2018 season.

While Hakumei is cheerful, outgoing and prefers to be outside, Mikochi is more introverted and prefers to stay indoors. These differences will set the tone for their friendship. Riding on insects and birds, creating tools from the forest and living their normal lives, they’ll show us how day to day chores can be the biggest adventure in a small world full of wonders.

‘Hakumei and Mikochi’ is an adaptation of the manga by Takuto Kashiki. It is directed by Masaomi Andou (07 Ghost, Fairy Tale) and produced by Lerche (Assassination Classroom,Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls). It includes elements from the Slice of Life, Seinen and Fantasy genres that will give dynamism to their small forest lives. ‘Hakumi and Mikochi’ is scheduled for a January 2018 broadcast in Japan. It will soon be available to stream on HIDIVE, with a home video release to follow.

 This Winter 2018 season is full of great food and drinks for all the fans of Sentai Filmworks. We’re happy to announce that we have acquired the adaption of Haruto Hino’s manga, known as ‘Takunomi’.

‘Takunomi‘ follows the story of Michiru Amatsuki, a 20-year-old woman who just moved to Tokyo to change jobs. She lives in apartment 101 of Stella House Haruno, an all-female boarding house. There, she meets other women of different ages, jobs, and personalities. They all have something in common though: their love for good food and drinks.

The series will start in the Winter 2018 season and will be available for streaming exclusively on HIDIVE starting in January 2018. ‘Takunomi’ comes to Sentai from Production IMS’ studio. It is directed by Kobayashi, Tomoki (‘Akame ga Kill!’) and Katsuhiko Takayama (‘ef: A Tale of Memories’, and ‘Sakurada Reset’) is working on the script. This new story with Slice of Life, Comedy and Shounen elements is sure to have some good times for all.

This story from Kamikaze Douga (Amanatsu and Cocolors) and King Records (Hozuki’s Coolheadedness, Utawarerumono:The False Faces, and Ajin: Demi-Human) is based on the cult web comic by Bukub Okawa and directed by Jun Aoki and Aoi Umeki. The series will start in the Winter 2018 season and will be available for streaming on HIDIVE, beginning in January 2018.

 The new acquisitions for the Winter 2018 Season keep coming and we are proud to announce the addition of ‘DAMEPRI Anime Caravan’. This series is an adaptation of the smartphone app from NHN PlayArt Corp.’s Dame × Prince (aka “DamePri”).

The series main character is Ani, the princess of a small nation named Inaco. She is hardworking, realistic and strong-minded. She was raised with the belief that royalty needs to work even harder than the people of her kingdom. That’s a good thing because she will need to work extremely hard to face the princes of two powerful kingdoms: Selenfalen and Milidonia. After all, when you have to deal with a narcissist, a womanizer, a fragile idol, and a shut-in otaku, what can go wrong?

The theme song for the series will be performed by the band Breakerz. The series will be available for streaming exclusively on HIDIVE in January 2018.
