Sentai Filmworks has licensed several anime which will air on HiDive:
HOUSTON, TX, March 27, 2018 – Sentai Filmworks announced today it acquired all distribution rights to the romantic comedy Real Girl for the Spring 2018 Simulcast season in the following territories: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Nordics, Spain, Portugal and Central & South America.
The character-driven story follows the reclusive Hikari Tsutsui as he accidentally falls in love with the popular Iroha Igarashi, despite his aversion to real-world girls. The couple begins to develop a close bond neither expected which challenges their preconceived notions of who people truly are.
Real Girl is being produced by Hoods Entertainment (Mysterious Girlfriend X, Fantasista Doll) and will be directed by Takashi Naoya (Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, Luck & Logic) with series composition from Deko Akao (Anonymous Noise, Noragami).
The series will soon be available to stream on select digital outlets with a home video release to follow.
HOUSTON, TX, March 28, 2018 – Sentai Filmworks announced today that it acquired all distribution rights to Tada Never Falls in Love for North America, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, South Africa, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal and Latin America. The 12-episode original series by Doga Kobo (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, Himouto! Umaru-chan) explores the wonder of adolescence through the eyes of Tada, a thoughtful teen who finds beauty through his camera lens but has never fallen in love.
One serendipitous day, Tada is taking pictures of cherry blossoms and unexpectedly meets Teresa, a transfer student from Luxembourg. Tada helps Teresa as she gets separated from her group and takes her to his grandfather’s coffee shop. As Tada and Teresa’s friendship begins to blossom, Tada starts to question his feelings.
The original anime will be directed by Mitsue Yamazaki (Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East) with series composition from Yoshiko Nakamura (Kabukibu!) and character designs by Junichiro Taniguchi (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun).
Tada Never Falls in Love will be available to stream on select digital outlets for the Spring 2018 simulcast season, with a home video release to follow.

Based on the groundbreaking franchise that launched the “magical girl” genre and produced as part of the 50th anniversary commemorating the work of anime and manga wunderkind Go Nagai (Devilman Crybaby), Cutie Honey Universe follows Honey Kisaragi, an amazingly humanlike and fashion conscious android with the unique ability to transform her body into a wide range of outrageous yet stylish disguises, each of which comes with its own dazzling super ability. After a run-in with a sinister secret criminal cabal organization, Panther Claw, the luscious and law-abiding Honey makes it her mission to bring them down.
The series will be directed by Akitoshi Yokoyama (Photo Kano) with series composition from Natsuko Takahashi (My Love Story!!, LOVE and LIES). Animation production will be handled by Production Reed (In Another World With My Smartphone, Rainbow Days).
