I love the Warhammer 40k universe, The war ridden future of Ork’s, Space Marines, and Eldar constantly expanding with each new game. Space hulk, A classic board game based on the same universe has been remade for the PC How does it stand up?

Good: Die hard fans of Warhammer will enjoy this game, Not quite as much as people who are new to the board game or Warhammer in general. It keeps true to the old board game, Something the fan’s will extremely appreciate. The action points give the game another angle of difficulty, Making you plan ahead of time what move would be preferable, Loading up that massive gun that takes all of your action points and hoping the genestealers dont overrun you, Or getting the flamer ready to hold off the encroaching enemy.

Bad: The game, though it was pretty difficult at times, had a simple concept. Just station your men plan ahead and hope you did not make the wrong choice. One thing that annoyed me was how you could not skip most of the animations, This is really just me nitpicking though. It got really tiresome seeing the same animation over and over especially how long it took the terminators to turn and fire.
Space hulk wasn’t a bad game, It had it’s flaws as many do. Overall The game had more bad for me than good, Fans of the series will love it Less casual fans could find enjoyment for a good while. The hard Difficulty aside, It is worth a play for sure though there is no denying that.
