R.I.P.D gets it’s own movie tie in, for what it’s worth it’s decent, but sadly it’s still a movie tie in.
R.I.P.D the game is a 2013 movie tie in third-person shooter developed by Old School Games and published by atlus. It is available on PSN, XBLA, and Steam.
THE GOOD: The game is a movie tie in so, there isn’t very much good to be had, however it does have it’s moments. The amount of weaponry was nice in size and the custom match mode was fun every once in awhile. You could find someone to play with the game got even better. Power ups were fun to use for awhile as well.
Roy killing some zombies.
THE BAD: Aiming was sloppy , and enemies could over run you quickly. There wasn’t very much distinction between levels and gameplay either.
Nick in a group fight.
THE UGLY: It was near impossible to find someone to play with, thus making this a mostly online depended game a mistake.
Roy with a shotgun.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: Overall R.I.P.D isn’t the worst game ever made, but again it is a movie tie in. The large array of weapons was cool, as were the power ups. Aiming was off and things got boring fast, not to mention it was extremely difficult finding someone to play with.
