During a showcase event for Resident Evil Village Capcom confirmed that the game would indeed be crossgen across Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Capcom had previously stated that they were unsure if the game could properly run on last-gen hardware, but would release the title on the consoles if they could get
