A report coming from Comic Central City a few days ago has stated that a source within Adult Swim has noted that the network is more than willing to renew the series for a fifth season should ratings show favorable results. It had been announced previously that the currently airing fourth season would be the last due to the exit of series creator Aaron McGruder after difficulties with his schedule due to his upcoming Adult Swim series Black Jesus. A complete series DVD and Blu-Ray has already been released at retailers, season 4 which is still premiering on AS, has been released to DVD and Blu-Ray as well. For what it’s worth the season four opener “Pretty Boy Flizzy”  which starred Chronicle’s Michael B. Jordan as the titular role gained the series it’s highest rating to date.
