Today, iam8bit announced that it will be expanding its Persona 5 vinyl collection with Persona 5 Royal, while repressing its bestselling Persona 5: Essential Edition 4xLP Box Set (timed pre-order) and repressing a host of other beloved iam8bit vinyl releases – just in time for its 15th anniversary.
Pre-orders for the Persona 5 Royal vinyl soundtrack will open on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 9 a.m. PST on iam8bit.com. Pre-orders for the timed Persona 5: Essential Edition 4xLP Box Set repress will be open simultaneously but will only be available through December 31 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
Persona 5 stands as one of the greatest role-playing games ever made; it’s truly difficult to imagine a world without its Phantom Thieves and sprawling Metaverse. A must-own extension of iam8bit’s previous and extremely popular Persona 5: Essential Edition 4xLP Box Set, the Persona 5 Royal vinyl soundtrack preserves ATLUS’ epic and intimate music across three premium mystery-color wax discs, packaged in an interactive die cut window jacket with luxurious gold-foil inner sleeves. The album art, by acclaimed artist Drew Wise, will be revealed at a future date.
As an added bonus for Persona aficionados, iam8bit is thrilled to announce that all pre-orders for Persona 5 Royal vinyl placed before December 31 at 11:59 p.m. PST will be shipped with a free 7″ record, featuring the acclaimed “Hymn of the Soul” Velvet Room Theme, which was previously only available on iam8bit’s now sold-out Persona 5 Deluxe Edition 6xLP Box Set.
The Persona 5 Royal 3xLP vinyl soundtrack will be priced at $75.00 and the timed Persona 5: Essential Edition 4xLP Box Set repress will be priced at $100.00. Both are expected to ship in Q2 of 2021.
