Netflix has announced the renewals of two series and announces a new one:
Netflix has renewed GLOW for a second season (ten episodes). Set in 1985 Los Angeles, GLOW follows Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), a struggling out-of-work actress as she auditions for, trains and eventually makes the first-ever women’s wrestling TV show. Inspired by the short-lived but beloved show from the 80s, GLOW is a Cinderella story with bodyslams. GLOW is created by Liz Flahive (Homeland, Nurse Jackie) and Carly Mensch (Nurse Jackie, Orange Is The New Black, Weeds). Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan and Tara Herrmann are executive producers alongside Flahive and Mensch, who are serving as showrunners.

Netflix has renewed the original series Ozark for Season 2, with 10 new episodes.
In Ozark, This money-centric present day story revolves around financial planner Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) and their family’s sudden relocation from the suburbs of Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks. For Ozark, executive producer and director is Jason Bateman, with executive producer/writer Chris Mundy, and executive producers Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams. The series is produced by Bateman’s Aggregate Films in association with Media Rights Capital for Netflix, and was created by Dubuque and Williams.
