Motorola has announced a new, cheap Android smartphone known as the Moto G. This makes the second best value phone from Google (which Motorola is now a part of), the first was the Google Nexus 5. Priced at $179 USD, the Moto G will come with a 4.5 inch 720p screen, Droid 4.3 OS, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 8 gigabytes of pre-set storage, and a 5-megapixel camera. A SIM-Free version with 16 gigs of storage will be available at $199. It releases January 2014 in the US, as of this writing I am currently unaware of carriers.
