Neogaf continues it’s role of confirmed Assassin’s Creed leaks, after having Assassin’s Creed unity being leaked on a plan (like it’s predecessor Assassin’s Creed Blackflag), another Assassin’s Creed game that was leaked on the gaming website has now all but been confirmed; Assassin’s Creed: Comet.

Comet, was previously believed to be a code name for the upcoming game, but so was fellow rumored next-gen only Assassin’s Creed game Unity. In the end Unity was revealed to be the game’s final name, and from the leaked press release it seems that Comet is the final name for the next multiplatform game as well. An interesting bit of info was revealed in the PR however. For one thing it will act as a direct sequel to not only Assassin’s Creed III, but also the standalone DLC from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag; Freedom Cry which starred former first mate turned captain of the Jackdaw Adewale.

This new game will star the grandson of Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry protagonist Adewale. However, Connor will be featured once more as a major character and a guide to new protagonist Eseosa. The leaked PR can be seen below:
