Update 5:00 PM central time: Upon reacquainting myself with the cancelled Kingdom Hearts title I wanted to state that Marvel was NOT apart of the entry only Star Wars, apologies for any confusion.

Original story: The next entries into the Kingdom Hearts franchise have been announced by Square Enix; Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link a continuation of the Union X mobile title with 3D graphics for iOS & Android as well as the beginning of the next major arc in the series with Kingdom Hearts IV. In addition to these two titles the finale to Union X: Dark Road was also dated for August. The trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV reveals an older Sora with Union X’s Strelitzia in Quadratum which was described as an after world. New gameplay mechanics such as a hook shot suggesting the game will be open world was also revealed.

Also confirmed was the return of Olympus with Donald and Goofy meeting Hades and a world that very closely resembles Endor from Star Wars. It should be noted that a Kingdom Hearts mobile game featuring both Marvel & Star Wars worlds was in development but ultimately cancelled with plans likely moving to KHIV.
