While everyone in Japan (and across the globe) is celebrating One Piece turning 20 years old, Hollywood has decided to pay tribute in its own way by adapting the series into a live-action TV drama series. Series mangaka Eiichiro Oda has confirmed that the adaption is currently in the works according to Yahoo! Japan, Tomorrow Studios of Prison Break fame will be handling production of the series, the series producer of Prison Break; Marty Adelstein will also be tackling the project as EP. One Piece is another addition in what feels like a continuing trend of Anime to Hollywood adaptations, previously announced Hollywood Anime TV adaptations include hit franchises Sword Art Online & Cowboy Bebop.
