HBO has announced “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver”, a new topical program to be hosted by the titular man John Oliver. The new series will take a look at news, politics and other current events in a comical fashion. Last Week With John Oliver debuts on HBO April 27, 2014. Oliver previously had a stint on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and even hosted the show for a short period of time.
