As Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd launches in Japan this week, SEGA has announced that the game will also see a release later this year for North America and Europe. SEGA makes the announcement via their official blog, where they credit the great reception the first Project DIVA F title received for the announcement. Not much details were given on the game, but players can expect it to not be too different from the Japan release. Project DIVA F 2nd features 40 new songs, and will also feature the return of EDIT mode.
The game will most likely see a digital release, like the first Project DIVA F, but SEGA revealed another special detail for fans. There will be packaged versions for both PS3 and Vita this time around. Previously, there was only a physical release of Project DIVA F for PS3, while the Vita version was only available digitally.
SEGA promises more details on the western release as we get closer to E3.
