Bandai has confirmed that the upcoming remaster of the .hack//G.U. video game franchise, which was previously believed to be digital only, will indeed receive a physical version for Playstation 4:
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. today confirms that .hack//G.U.™ Last Recode will receive a physical edition for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system. This is in addition to the previously announced digital versions for the PlayStation 4 system and STEAM®. Pre-orders for the physical edition of .hack//G.U. Last Recode will begin today at participating retailers. .hack//G.U. Last Recode will be available throughout the Americas in 2017.
hack//G.U. Last Recode collects the three .hack//G.U. action-RPG titles; Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption with updated 1080p resolution, 16:9 widescreen picture, and 60fps frame rate, gameplay balance changes, and additional features to be announced at a later date making this collection the definitive .hack//G.U. experience for fans and newcomers alike.
