Archer is still not even halfway done with it’s fifth season entitled Archer: Vice which consists of 80s parodies, however this isn’t stopping them from beginning production on future seasons. FX has announced that it has renewed the popular animated series for seasons six and seven, with season six set to premiere next year, and season seven premiering in 2016.

This is hardly surprising news, if I recall correctly FX renewed Archer for seasons four and five during season three’s original airing. As the ratings for the series not only stays strong but grows as well, it looks as if FX will see how the series does with each two year renewal term and determine what to do with the series moving forward. Season five will end on April 21.
