Originally set for a test pilot to air sometime this year, FOX has instead greenlit the upcoming live-action Batman prequel into an entire pilot season. No word on why the decision was made, but FOX likely saw the potential in the future of the series after having seen some near complete, or completely shot footage of the planned test pilot episode and were impressed by the results. No date has been given for the season premiere as of this writing.
