DC Comics & WB Pictures recently released two trailers and a press release detailing the upcoming digital streaming service DC Universe, alongside an updated home website with sign ups for a beta going live. A number of DC fans discovered that the beta, set for August 2018 is currently region locked to the United States much to their disappointment. While it’s fairly obvious that the service would eventually launch outside of America, the region locking of the beta has none the less worried non-US DC fans looking forward to the service. Though not confirmed by DC or WB, a rumor is being spread that the full service or perhaps the beta will have an international release sometime this December. There’s currently no launch date set for the full service as of this writing, but Greg Weisman recently hinted that DC plans to launch the service after September 2018 when discussing Young Justice: Outsiders release date:
Too precise. All I know for sure is fourth quarter 2018.
