As if the Blu-Ray disc wasn’t already an insane piece of tech due to the amount of data it can hold, Sony has decided to up the ante, thus making an even crazier piece of tech as far as data discs goes. Introducing the new Archival Disc; this new disc will hold between 300GB-1TB space out of box, though it’s highly likely Sony will be releasing more discs size upon its initial release. The disc will official take over & succeed the Blu-Ray disc within the next few years, and Sony will undoubtedly implement the disc for Playstation 4 use. The first Archival Disc and supportable systems will be released Summer 2015.
