Reports coming out of tonight’s RAW taping is that Vince McMahon and CM Punk have come to terms of granting his release from the company, according to PW Insider. While nothing is confirmed, an announcement is expected sometime today or this week. Many fans were left wondering if Punk’s walk out back in January was a work or legitimate, however as time went by it became clear that there were some serious issues between the two parties as Punk was removed from all tapings, house shows, and PPVs including WrestleMania 30 going forward. Punk hasn’t been seen since the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. He was spotted picking up real-life girlfriend AJ Lee, who is the reigning WWE Diva’s Champion in Chicago this morning. Punk was reportedly telling those who were asking at a house show this weekend that he was “done”.
